Ellooooooo

My name is Naomi Nelson.  I’m originally a southern girl from North Carolina who moved to New York City where I went to NYU Tisch for Film & TV  (so now I tell people I’m from New York).

In New York I lived many lives. I worked on sets as a producer, production designer, director, photographer, and actress. I wrote a dark comedy with two of my best friends called Tell Your Mom I Miss Her! and put it up off broadway. I’ve been part of the Tribecca Film Festival twice. I taught art classes to senior citizens in Brooklyn.  I started my own brand called SAVED where I paint on second hand clothes to create sustainable wearable art. David Harbour comissioned a shirt. Two sweatshirts were part of the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition.  And I went to Martin Scorceses’ birthday party!

In May, I graduated from the Advanced Advertising program at Berghs School of Communication in Stockholm. I learned so much, building brand strategies, campaigns, and executions for live clients. I’m basically an expert now.

So what now??

Right now, I'm looking for art director or designer roles at creative agencies on the East Coast. But I’m very open, who knows where this next chapter will take me.

Let’s work together!
